Tigran Tsitoghdzyan, a New York-based Armenian artist, is collaborating with AKNEYE to create his very own unique sculpture.
Who is Tigran?
As a child prodigy, it was always Tigran’s dream to pursue art as a career and a passion. He began showcasing his art as young as ten years old and only continued to grow. His art made rounds through several countries such as Armenia, Spain, Russia, Japan and the USA. Throughout the years, having studied at the Yerevan Fine Arts Academy and at the École Cantonale d'Art du Valais in Switzerland, he’s honed a very specific style and theme in his work.
Through his art series, Mirror and Self Isolation, Tigran proficiently portrays the core aspects of humanity. He beautifully depicts that which we hold within ourselves and the masks that we tend to hide behind. Whether it’s our obsession with social media, or our tendency to conceal our true selves from the world, everything is laid bare through Tigran’s art.
Collaboration
The renowned artist is collaborating with AKNEYE to create a combined project in the form of his very own eye sculpture, and an 11-piece NFT collection. His artwork will debut at the Grand Opening of the ftNFT Phygital NFT Store in Dubai Mall on March 16th. They will be listed for sale there as well as in the ftNFT Shop at the Mall of the Emirates. Purchasing the NFTs will also grant customers the physical versions as well, giving them a unique, phygital experience.
Having been personally invited as a special guest, Tigran is presenting his new work on the night of the opening. His AKNEYE piece is the first sculpture that he has painted, marking this as a special occasion for an artist that has already blown away so many minds.
